Our Artic-HIAB service proved invaluable again today. Two single piece end frames were collected from the factory at 05.00 hrs and transported to site for just after 07.00 hrs, thus avoiding disruption on the A27 even with a 3.50 metre wide ‘Abload’.

Once a few site issues were dealt with, the versatile 36 tonne per metre off loaded the trailer, directly to structure, avoiding costly crane hire. In fact the overhanging nature of the gable end above, precluded a straightforward crane lift in.

Fantastic service from driver Barry Huntley and Southdown Truck & Crane. The lack of space on site and other issues definitely made this the most cost effective of delivering and erecting these units…
