Client: Mackley Construction – Bridge at Swan Lane, London

An recently constructed, ambitious and striking looking stairwell with commanding views of Thames and the iconic ‘Shard’ beyond had just one problem… it didn’t quite marry up with the footway above. We and the team at Mackleys worked up a plan to get the materials and lifting kit on site for a Saturday a.m footway closure. A super-truck with a FASSI 36 t/m remote control crane was sent. The engineered solution and millimetre perfect facia stones were installed without a hitch and we actually pulled off site several hours early. All in all a nice little job jobbed.
