Glide when WIDE
As you might imagine, moving some of the more non-standard loads such as glazed size buildings takes a good deal of thought and consideration.
Issues to be dealt with include:
- Safe disconnection of service, prior to our arrival.
- Security of all internal and external fittings.
- Mitigation for glazing.
- Appropriate lifting equipment, such as modular spreader beams.
- Routing – a task that becomes more difficult as time goes on because neither landowners nor highways authorities are taking adequate care of their responsibilities regarding hedges and verges.
- Suitable terrain for trucks to get to a safe lifting position. Having a massive range of our own temporary roadway and outrigger mitigations is a real boon for us.
