Oil right on the night!

On Friday late morning, just when we wondered if the weekend malaise was upon us we got a call from our friends at Truck & Marine Cranes in a spot of bother at our end of the world.

A rebushing job for a service crane on a fuel oil refuelling barge was getting behind schedule and they needed a bit of craneage to ‘jiggle it a bit’. Never ones to say no to a pal we dispatched Barry ‘the Moo’ Huntley out in the only big lifter we had left in the yard. DA60 SFZ and her FASSI 660 crane. It wasn’t the sort of job you could rush, but after a big thumbs up from the TMC boys, he left as the sun was going down over the Channel to arrive back at the works about midnight.
