Remotely Controlled 27 t/m Hydraulic Crane

We are very pleased to announce that the clever boffins in the engineering department have completed the install of a remotely controlled 27 t/m hydraulic crane on to our recently acquired M.A.N double-drive, 80 tonne GVW tractor unit. With a reach of over 15 metres we’re looking forward to putting it to work on the movement of 12 m sticks of PPE gas pipe on the SGN mains renewal programme, amongst other projects. It’s also going to be real boon for our Events clients for whom the rapid transport of kit such as lighting towers with a safe and efficient off load function is going to be hugely useful.
