Extendable trailers (trombone / stretch trailers)
These trailers look and operate like regular artic flats when closed, with regulation fall arrest / boxing ring attachments. When extended they reveal their excellent capacity for getting loads to site for off-loading by cranes or HIABs.
Having the additional benefit of stretching out at various lengths up to 21 metres, means we can legally carry abnormal-length pieces for some really ambitious structural projects.
