Upstairs – Downstairs

One of our last jobs of the year was on site in Hove, Sussex with the specialist architectural dismantlers of choice ‘Dorton Demolition’.

This task really showcases the flexibility that the big lifting cranes with fly jib’s give us.

The scope to delve deep into the structure to hold safely and then lift out the fabricated steel stair sections with surgical accuracy was a real revelation for the guys on site.

It made the cost effective reclamation of these now sought after industrial artefacts possible and certainly saved an awful lot of hard work to extract them unscathed.

Truck and crane featured Volvo FH500 8 x 2 x 4 rigid and FASSI 820 c/w fly jib.
