When it comes to mighty agricultural machinery, it doesn’t get much grander than the FENDT 939 Variomatic – 300 hp, 4 wheel drive monster!
The thing about painting outsized tractors, everything gets bigger and therefore more complicated.
Paint and primer needs ordering by the gallon. And sanding and masking needs to be done by the acre!
At a mountainous 3.5 metres tall and girthy 2.7 m wide you need a bit of room to manoeuvre in a paint shop.
The final result was striking, with a brooding black finish for the main bodywork and fresh ‘Terra’ red wheels.
